Piles

Piles

Inflammation or swelling of the tissues in the anal area is a sign of piles. Internal piles come in a variety of sizes and are more prevalent than external heaps. The internal anus is found between 2 and 4 centimeters above the aperture of the anus, whereas the external anus is found on the anus’s outside border.

Causes

  • Chronic constipation
  • Using force when passing stool
  • Chronic diarrhea
  • Pregnancy (it might cause increased pressure in the body)
  • Lifting heavyweights
  • Hereditary
  • Swelling of blood vessels around the anus

Diagnosis and Treatment

Hemorrhoids can be diagnosed visually by looking at your anus. If your doctor suspects that there is a problem within the anus, he or she may perform a different examination. Symptoms are not always present in individuals with piles. Special causes, such as pregnancy and constipation, can aggravate the symptoms. The use of an over-the-counter cream or gel at a pharmacy may relieve the itching in these situations and reduce the discomfort. Constipation is treated first by making stools soft. Aim for at least 25-30 grams of insoluble fiber per day to achieve this. Whole grains, cereals, fruit, and vegetables are all sources. Fibers pass through the bowels without being absorbed by the body, making them soft. During the treatment period, the patient should consume at least 6-8 glasses of water each day and avoid drinks containing caffeine like tea, coffee, and cola.

Home remedies:

  • Include whole-grain in your diet
  • Raw strawberries
  • Stop alcohol and caffeine
  • Take cooked oats and barley

  • Include fruits and vegetables in your diet
